Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival (4/20 ~ 5/6)

Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival (only Japanese language pages) will be held at Hirosaki Castle Park from April 20th to May 6th.

Hirosaki Apple Flower Festival (5/6 ~ 5/12)

Hirosaki apple flower festival (only Japanese language pages) will be held at Hirosaki Apple Park from May 6th to May 12th. If you will check into hotel on Friday or Saturday, you can enjoy the festival.

Social Events of ASYNC2019

Welcome Reception (Sunday, May 12th, 18:00~)

On Sunday evening a welcome reception will be held at the Sapphire room on the 3rd floor of Art Hotel Hirosaki City. Please join the reception.

Excursion (Tuesday, May 14th, 16:00~)

On Tuesday we will take you on a sightseeing bus tour and walking tour through Hirosaki Castle park.
The buses will pick us up at the hotel and take us to Neputa Village (Tsugaruhan Neputa Mura). In Neptuta Village, you can enjoy Japanese traditional culture and buy some souvenirs.

Afterward a guide will take us on a walking tour through Hirosaki Castle park. Unfortunately, the castle tower will be closed at 17:00 and famous cherry blossoms called Somei-Yoshino will scatter. However, you can enjoy a scenic walk taking commemorative photos with Japanese traditional buildings, cherry blossoms called Shidare-sakura, and Iwaki mountain which is also called as Tsugaru-Fuji.

Finally, we will go back to Neputa Village to ride the buses and return to the hotel.

Conference Dinner (Tuesday, May 14th, 18:30~)

The conference dinner will be held at the Sapphire Room on the 3rd floor of Art Hotel Hirosaki City. If you don't want to join the sightseeing/walking tour, you can also come directly to the conference dinner.
In the conference dinner, you can enjoy Japanese and Western cuisine and several performances such as Tsugaru-Jamisen and Neputa-Bayashi.
